Kobe VS Lebron

So im really tired of hearing this argument actually it shouldn't even be an argument. This is the first time I think ever i actually agree with skip bayless. Lebron James is an excellent player a real good one but he is not the best in the league... yet. He doesn't have that killer instinct or the shooting ability that Kobe Bryant has and shows every night, and its kinda funny how Kobe Bryant this year has a broken finger and his shooting percentage is just a little below James's. I am not hating on Lebron or saying his a bad player but he doesn't have the work ethic as Kobe and doesn't nearly have half the Basketball IQ he has. Dont you think its funny how after he spent a couple summers working out and practicing with Kobe for the USA Olympic team he becomes a better player I certainly do. Everybody on that team knew who the team leader was and it was Kobe, everybody knew who to get the ball to when they needed a shot and one game it had to come down to that and Kobe got the ball and sunk a jumper and put that game away! Not lebron not carmelo It was Kobe. I know I've posted to many blog entries on this topic but just because the cavs beat the lakers one game it doesn't mean the other player is a better player.
it means the lakers had a horrible game and andrew bynums bitch ass didnt even bother to get out of bed! Kobe Bryant is still the best player in the NBA and he will be until Lebron actually gets to the finals and wins it, then we can reevaluate this argument again but until that time comes shut the fuck up!!!!

So we have been having this conversation for a while now is hip hop dead or did it just get dumber? With rappers like soulja boy, gucci, and oj da juiceman rapping with the worst lyrics in the world and more lyrical rappers like jadakiss and wu-tang not selling as much. Is it because the younger generation wants to see people that look like them in the booth lying about how they sold kilos of coke when you know you never sold any drugs in your life or is it something else? One thing i do know these skinny jean the more you look gay is cool rappers are horrible! Until you see a real lyrical rapper with mad public appeal we are stuck with it. maybe Shyne will come back and kill some shit hahaha ill wait and see

T.I. Out Of Federal

Today T.I. finally got out of federal prison he was released this morning and is headed to Dismas Charities Atlanta West correctional center which is a half way house in Atlanta where he will spend 3 more months. Thats cool TIP is out no one wants to in jail for some stupid things they did especially if your own body guard rats you out! T.I. was arrested for trying to buy 3 machine guns and 2 silencer. I know when T.I. only got 1 year in prison he was hyped i know that sounds funny to say but when your facing 10 years, 1 doesnt look that bad!

I cant really believe there is a discussion about who was the greatest NBA player of the decade. I know i have some bias over it because the player I'm arguing about is on my home team the Los Angeles Lakers but that should be a non issue lol hahahahaha. well lets start off by who has the must Championships. The Lakers have won 4 NBA titles and reached the Finals 6 times. Kobe was on all of those teams and must people are arguing that Tim Duncan from the Spurs should be the player of the decade. He won 3 titles with the spurs. Now lets go on to playoff games played and Kobe is ranked number 3 behind derck fisher and robert horry both on Lakers championship teams. Kobe Has 147 games played only 2 games from number 1. Duncan is number 7 with 134. He is also number 1 in minutes played with 6,221, Duncan has 5,261 over a Thousand less. The Lakers also have the must playoff wins in the decade with 98, The spurs have won 83. Kobe also has the must points scored in the playoffs with 4,053, Duncan only has 3,143. Whos Selling in rap

So this last week allot of rappers dropped their final albums of the year. Gucci Mane, Snoop Dogg, Clipse, Timbaland, B.G. and Chris Brown. And the top selling one so far is Chris Brown! Not really being a rap or hip hop act he still has the hip hop flavor though. he is projected to sell 120,000 to 130,000 in his first week which is pretty good for him in his first album out since him beating Rihanna's ass.(I Dont condone spousal abuse) Gucci Mane is projected to sell 85,000 to 90,000 units in his first major album debut. Gucci is right now like it or not the hottest in the game you cant turn on the radio or listen to a mixtape with out hearing "GUUUCCCIII" or "BBBBUUUURRRR" he is everywhere! For him to only sell 85k to 90k is kind of disappointing. I know allot of people dont like Gucci for obvious reasons his lyrical content is not spectacular, but must people like his energy and his style and his work ethic in the game, which I agree with. Snoop Dogg's album is expected to sell 55,000-60,000 units. Snoops last couple albums were very forgettable "Ego Trippin" his last album was his first not to go gold. i didnt like the first single "sexual eruption" so i can see why it didnt sell. With his latest "Malice in wonderland" his first single "I wanna rock" is ok but when i heard the album i was really disappointed again sounds like snoop just dropped his usual bullshit record just to hop on the jerk fad. Clipse are expected to sell 30-35K "til the casket drops" was the album i was waiting for all year! their last album "hell hath no fury" was voted best album you never heard and i thought it was a classic! but with this album they kind of ventured away for in house producers the neptunes, which i didnt like. I dont know why they would do that neptunes gave them hot original beats and the clipse would drop hot original lyrics! to say i dont like the album is not true, it is a good album but compared to there last "hell hath no fury" it doesnt compete! and lastly B.G.'s Too Hood 2 Be Hollywood is projected to sell around 40-50K, Timbo’s Shock Value II is believed to fall somewhere between 35,000 and 40,000

Eminem Best Selling Artist Of The Decade

Nielsen SoundScan revealed today the highest selling records of the decade and for the first time ever a hip hop artist has that top spot and he is the one and only Detroit MC Eminem. So the past ten years he has sold an amazing 32.2 million albums. 2000's The Marshall Mathers LP sold 10.2 million and 2002's The Eminem Show sold 9.8 million copies which is astounding in record sales. Now a days if you do 1/3 that your a success. When the Eminem topic comes up in hip hop circles they dismiss him for being WHITE and to commercial. Me personally think that is retarded and racist. You cant deny his skill! I dont really like his new stuff at all and how he raps with that stupid accent, But his old stuff is hip hop at its best i have some old hip hop battles he was in and on the mic his one of the greatest! Lately allot of west coast artist have been really discouraged and frustrated about how the west coast hip hop scene is looking. i am feeling the same recently DJ green lantern interviewed Snoop Dogg on the state of the west and what is wrong with it. He bluntly pointed out no L.A. based radio stations support the west. And that statement is absolutely true!!! whens the last time you turned it on power 106 and heard them playing nipsey hussle, glasses malone, pac div or jay rock? NEVER! They rather play some more bullshit akon or drake or lil wayne. Im not hating i like Lil Waynes mixtapes but his not the west! The day after Thanksgiving allot of west coast artist held a pretest in front of power 106 in burbank. Me personally I dont listen to Power 106 anymore, they play the same horrible music every five minutes and for the simple reason you never hear a west coast artist on it. Dont take this post as me hating on the south or the east coast they make good music and it should be on the radio but for a radio station IN L.A. not to play west coast music is ridiculous! If your from L.A. O.C. I.E. support your local artist man. Buy Snoop Dogg, pac div, Nipsey Hussle, Jay Rock, Mack Mobb, Nine30, Strheatz, Support your local artist and West Coast Hip Hop!

Maybe Next Year....

College football's super team the USC Trojans lost again today bringing this years record down to a 8-4 record. Which is not to bad for a rebuilding team with a true freshman at quarterback, but two of those loses werent just loses they were blow outs the first one came from eventual Pac-10 champ Oregon ducks winning 47-20. but the next lost was the one that really left a bad taste in your mouth an embarrassing lost to Stanford 55-21. It was the first time any school has in the Trojans long history to put up more then half a hundred up. The must embarrassing thing for this year Trojans is losing the season finale to the Arizona wildcats and dropping us in the pac-10 standings from a reasonable second place to an awful sixth place. There was allot of new feelings for USC fans this year not competing for a pac-10 title or even a bcs game berth, now they only thing to look forward to is a date with BYU in the Poinsettia Bowl. You can blame this lackluster year on numerous things, the play by true freshmen quarterback Matt Barkley, the awful play by the USC defense, OR you can blame it on the eight defensive players that were drafted in to NFl last year. one thing is for sure you dont lose your starting quarterback, 3 starting linebackers and 1 back up linebacker, 2 defensive linemen and 2 defensive backs and think your gonna be competitive in college football. So all Trojans Fans can do is just hope things look up for the Trojans. And just a note two out of the top three recruits coming out of high school already committed to USC i think they will be ok.

Pacquiao VS Mayweather

News came out this morning that mayweather has agreed to terms to fight Pacquiao march 13. The fight is not finalized and the details may change, but Manny or Floyd are not gonna pass up this kind of money. Pacquiao is in the Philippines right right now and will be running for a congressional seat in May 2010 elections and official campaigning won't start before April. If this fight date becomes a reality Manny will be fighting his third fight in a matter of 10 months. One problem with this fight is where would it be held and will there be enough seats to accommodate all the fight fans who want to attend and see this super fight. Representatives of the Superdome in New Orleans and the new Cowboys Stadium in Dallas have expressed interest in hosting the fight, as has the MGM Grand hotel-casino in Las Vegas, where the fighters have had their biggest fights. There is also a proposal for a 30,000-seat temporary stadium on the Las Vegas Strip across from the Wynn resort. Anywhere it will be held its going to be sold out and the pay per view buys will break the record which was set by the Mayweather VS De La Hoya fight which had a little over 2.4 million P.P.V. buys. One thing is for sure both these boxers are regarded as the pound for pound the best fighters of today and this super fight will make one of the fighters go down in history as one of the all time greats
