Nielsen SoundScan revealed today the highest selling records of the decade and for the first time ever a hip hop artist has that top spot and he is the one and only Detroit MC Eminem. So the past ten years he has sold an amazing 32.2 million albums. 2000's The Marshall Mathers LP sold 10.2 million and 2002's The Eminem Show sold 9.8 million copies which is astounding in record sales. Now a days if you do 1/3 that your a success. When the Eminem topic comes up in hip hop circles they dismiss him for being WHITE and to commercial. Me personally think that is retarded and racist. You cant deny his skill! I dont really like his new stuff at all and how he raps with that stupid accent, But his old stuff is hip hop at its best i have some old hip hop battles he was in and on the mic his one of the greatest!
