So today Kobe Bryant has every Lakers fan as happy as possible. He signed a 3 year extension. The deal will keep Bryant a Laker through the 2013-14 season. Bryant, 31, will be two months shy of his 36th birthday when his new deal runs out. The numbers are not exactly clear yet but the word is the deal is 3 years for $90 million which is pretty dam good for a player that is on the wrong side of 30 years. Kobe has not slowed down one bit though Bryant is averaging 27.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 5.1 assists this season. Dont get me wrong this is all nice and everything but for me this all means nothing unless we and when I say we i mean the Lakers, it all means nothing if we do not win the championship this year. For a team with this much talent its championship or bust!
